A TRADITION THAT HAS
VERY FAR ORIGINS
Our oil is born in the uncontaminated marina of Monte Sant’Angelo, the city of San Michele and the 2 Unesco sites, where over time, the various rulers (Byzantines, Longobards, Swabians, Angevins), have contributed with their knowledge, to improve the cultivation technique and the production of olive oil.
Our product also has very distant origins, the fruit of the Ciliberti family, a historic family of our territory, which for over 2 centuries has dedicated itself, with passion and dedication, to the cultivation and production of extra virgin olive oil.
OVER TWO CENTURIES OF PASSION AND DEDICATION
THE GARGANO
Located at the foot of the Gargano, our olive groves, strictly of the Ogliarola endemic species of the Gargano, thanks to their fortunate position, grow in a mild climate between the mountains and the sea, near the scrub plain.
A unique, tasty and very fragrant oil derives from this extraordinary climatic combination. A medium fruity tending to sweet with hints of freshly cut grass and almond.
The olives are rigorously pressed within 24 hours of harvesting, thus preserving all the organoleptic properties of the oil. Our Oil is a Super Extra Virgin because the olives are harvested at the right degree of ripeness for a product with a low level of acidity.
